Natalie's brown bread
Place into a bowl the following:
2 cups of warm water or milk 1 Tablespoon brown sugar 1 1/4 teaspoon yeast 1 egg 3 tablespoons of oil Approx 500gms GF bread mix (e.g. healtheries) or half bread mix and half baking mix 1 heaped Tablespoon coarse maize cornmeal 1 heaped Tablespoon fine maize cornmeal or rice flour 1 heaped Tablespoon ground linseed 1 heaped Tablespoon sunflower seeds 1 heaped Tablespoon pumpkin seeds [optional] 1 teaspoon guar gum
Mix ingredients gently together. Scrape the firmish mixture into your breadmaker bucket and cook on the rapid programme with dark crust (some other breadmakers might use basic programme for best results)
If your bread sinks in centre it may be too moist at the start. You can also use light crust and large loaf setting for a panasonic bread maker.
